The Problems of the Homeless Committee consists of private sector and public interest lawyers concerned about issues facing the homeless in Philadelphia. Our current work, arising from a comprehensive report prepared by our committee a year ago, is focused on acting as a facilitator between various city agencies and advocacy groups in addressing the problems of the mentally ill homeless. Issues we have worked on in the past include the sidewalk behavior ordinance and the shelter system. For more information, please call the committee chair.
