RESOLUTION OF THE PHILADELPHIA BAR ASSOCIATION ADOPTING CERTAIN RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CHARTER & BYLAWS COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1102 of the Association’s Bylaws, the Board of Governors has the authority to make certain formal, non-substantive or conforming amendments to the Bylaws without adoption of the amendments by the Membership; and

WHEREAS, the Charter & Bylaws Committee recommends that the following amendments be adopted by the Board:

• Section 208(A)(6) – change “208(D)” to “208(C)” to properly identify the referenced provision.
• Section 208(A)(6)(a) – remove this subsection, because it has no further applicability.
• Section 700(C) – remove this subsection, because it became obsolete when the Nominating Committee was discontinued by previous revisions to the Bylaws.
  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above identified amendments to Sections 208 and 700 are hereby adopted by the Board.
