To provide quality comprehensive health and wellness services in an LGBT-focused environment, while preserving the dignity and improving the quality of life of the individuals we serve.
Mazzoni Center represents individuals in cases which may have an impact on the status of LGBT rights within Pennsylvania. They can provide expert assistance in the complex legal matters that affect LGBT individuals due to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. If we are unable to provide representation in a particular matter, we have an extensive cooperating attorney network of LGBT-sensitive counsel that can assist individuals with their unique legal issues. They also provide “self-help” materials to assist LGBT individuals without the need for formal legal representation.
Initial intakes are conducted via telephone calls to our Legal Services hotline, which is staffed by law students and legal advocates from Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 through 5:00. Drop-in visits are discouraged. Referrals from other agencies are always welcome.
