Join us for the official kickoff of the Philadelphia Bar Association Chancellor's Leadership Institute, on Wednesday, Feb. 27 as we hear from Philadelphia District Attorney R. Seth Williams, the first African-American District Attorney in Philadelphia and in the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. District Attorney Williams will share his personal journey and reflections on leadership, followed by an audience Q&A session.
Created by Chancellor Kathleen D. Wilkinson, the Chancellor's Leadership Institute provides ongoing substantive programming aimed at assisting and developing leadership skills and tools for women attorneys, attorneys of diverse backgrounds and young lawyers so they can succeed in their careers. The Institute harnesses the wisdom and experience of some of our region's top legal minds and business leaders.
The program begins at 12 p.m. at The CLE Conference Center on the 10th floor of the Wanamaker Building, Market and Juniper streets. The event is free and open to all members of the Philadelphia Bar Association. An RSVP is required to attend this brown-bag program. Click here to register.
The next Chancellor's Leadership Program will be Thursday, March 14 at 4 p.m., as we welcome a prominent panel of leaders including Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman; Pennsylvania state Rep. Kate Harper; former Pennsylvania state representative and current senior vice president of Interact Kathy Manderino; and former Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge and current American Red Cross of Southeastern PA CEO Renee Cardwell Hughes. The location will be announced soon.
