Assistant Counsel serves the Judicial Conduct Board in a confidential capacity, reports to Chief Counsel, reviews assigned complaints, supervises investigations, presents findings and recommendations to the Board, complies with Board directives concerning action to be taken on complaints and represents the Board before the Court of Judicial Discipline and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited law school, be admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, have no disciplinary history and be able to commence position on or before January 14, 2011. A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible legal work and independent experience trying cases requiring the highest degree of professional competency to conclusion is strongly preferred.
