USI Affinity Waives Administrative Fee for Sole Practitioners
The Association is pleased to announce that USI Affinity has decided to eliminate the 2.75% administrative fee on Independence Blue Cross group policy for sole practitioners. As members had been previously advised in a letter from USI Affinity, the decision to implement the fee resulted from actions by Independence Blue Cross. However, USI has taken this latest action because of its commitment to providing Association members the highest level of customer service and advocacy at the lowest possible price.
Members who already paid their May bills and included the fee will receive a refund directly from USI within the next several weeks.
