ABA & Philadelphia Bar to Co-Sponsor Free CLE Course on Ethics
The American Bar Association's Government and Public Sector Section Lawyers Division and the Philadelphia Bar Association will present Ethical Considerations in Public Sector Law at the upcoming ABA midyear meeting on Friday, Feb. 1 from 2 --5 p.m. at the Westin Philadelphia Hotel, Salon III, 99 South 17th Street, with a complimentary reception to follow. The CLE program is free of charge.Ethical Consideration in Public Sector Law focuses on the unique issues confrtoned by public lawyers using an entertaining, interactive format involving short skits to illustrate scenarios. Topics examined include: scope of representation, public sector attorney-client privilege issues, duty to disclose lawyer misconduct and communication with represented persons. This program provides a rare opportunity for public lawyers to examine topisc specifically geared to their practice. The Division has requested three hours of ethics CLE credits from all MCLE states.
