PBI's "How to Start a New Business" Seminar, Dec. 1-2

Earn up to 12 CLE credits at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s “How to Start a New Business” seminar, a practical guide to starting a new business, practice or franchise on Wednesday, Dec. 1 and Thursday, Dec. 2.

Seminars include “Starting a New Business – Identifying the Objectives and Legal Issues;” “Choosing the Right Form of Business Entity;” “Show Me the Money – Small Business Loans, Venture Capital, Alternative Sources of Financing;” “Writing a Business Plan – Ten Keys to Success;” “Ethical Issues for the Newly Formed Firm (ethics);” and “Websites, Blogs and Social Networking – How to Take Maximum Advantage of the Internet Age.”

Topics for the second day include “Location, Location, Location – Exploring Real Estate;” “Options for the New Business;” “The Franchise Option;” “Insurance Coverage – How to Control Risk;” “The Work Force – Employment Law Issues;” “Developing a Customer Base;” and “The Leap of Faith – Planning for Contingencies and Going Forward.”
