Marks to Receive O'Connor Award at October Quarterly
Lynn A. Marks, a champion for court reform in Pennsylvania, has been named recipient of the Philadelphia Bar Association's 2007 Sandra Day O'Connor Award.Marks is the executive director of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. The award presentation will be made during the Association's Quarterly Meeting and Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Ann Weaver Hart, the first woman president of Temple University, will be the keynote speaker at the event.
The O'Connor Award is conferred annually on a woman attorney who has demonstrated superior legal talent, achieved significant legal accomplishments and has furthered the advancement of women in both the profession and the community.
