ICC Procedural and Jurisdictional Challenges CLE Nov. 8

The Philadelphia Global Initiative on the Rule of Law will present the CLE program "Procedural and Jurisdictional Challenges" on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Temple University Beasley School of Law.

The morning panel, "Judges' Insights: A Comparison of Criminal Procedure in the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the U.S., will be moderated by Prof. James A. Shellenberger and features speakers ICC First Vice President Judge Monageng, U.S. District Court Judge Robert B. Kugler and Karen L. Corrie, Litigation Fellow at the Open Society Justice Initiative.

The afternoon panel, "The Role of the ICC in the Global Legal Order: Making the Rome Statute's Vision of Global Justice a Reality" will be moderated by Prof. Margaret M. deGuzman with speakers Rod Rastan, Legal Advisor in the Office of the Prosecutor at the ICC and Matthew Heaphy, Deputy Convener American NGO Coalition for the ICC.

Both programs will be held at Temple's Shusterman Hall, 1834 N. Park Mall. Two CLE credits are available for each panel. For registration and information please visit una-gp.org/global.initiative.
