Philadelphia Bar Association Mourns Coretta Scott King
PHILADELPHIAThe Philadelphia Bar Association joins with the entire Philadelphia legal community in expressing its condolences on the death of Coretta Scott King. Mrs. Kings devotion to her family and dedication to fulfilling the vision of her late husband, Martin Luther King Jr., have earned her a unique place in the history of our nation. Her quiet strength despite personal tragedy helped shape our nation in tumultuous times. Throughout the final decades of her life, Mrs. King continued to espouse her husbands dreams and her personal efforts helped advance the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. She will be missed.
