Chancellor to be Honored as Extraordinary Immigrant
Gabriel L.I. Bevilacqua, Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, will be honored by the American Immigration Law Foundation at its 16th Annual Benefit, A Salute to Italian Americans, on Friday, June 11 at a dinner reception at the Philadelphia Marriott. Bevilacqua is a partner with the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP.Each year the Foundation selects a different immigrant group to salute at the Annual Benefit. Honorees are selected based on their major contributions to America.
In addition to Bevilacqua, this year's honorees include Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, Archbishop Emeritus of Philadelphia; Lucia Chiavola Birnbaum, professor and research scholar; Biba Caggiano, acclaimed chef and television personality; and Phil Ramano, restauranteur.
