RESOLUTION URGING REJECTION OF AN ABA PROPOSAL REGARDING SPECIALIZATION

WHEREAS, the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Specialization has voted to establish an entity to develop and administer specialty certification programs sponsored by the ABA or its subdivisions and has forwarded that Resolution to the ABA House of Delegates;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Philadelphia Bar Association urges the rejection of the proposal of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Specialization concerning the development and administration of specialty certification programs sponsored by the ABA or its subdivisions in its present form.
