Small Business Committee Meeting
2011 Planning Meeting Do you represent small businesses in the areas of transactional law, litigation, real estate, intellectual property - or any other discipline? Can you share your insights with your fellow Philadelphia Bar Association colleagues? Do you hope to represent small businesses in these areas in the future?
It is time to plan for 2011 and the work of the Small Business Committee. Current suggestions are for quarterly meetings covering topics such as advice on business plan writing for small businesses, nuts and bolts of real estate considerations for small business, litigation management and avoidance for small businesses and accounting considerations for small businesses. A panel presentation in the fall for topics or most interest to our members is on the drawing board as well as ideas to work with other committees of the Business Law Section. Law students are the future of our profession and so consideration on getting them involved is in the works as well.
Please join us to hear about these ideas and share your own thoughts about what the Small Business Committee can do for you!
